The Cornish Rex cat was first noticed in Cornwall, England, hence the name. The first Cornish Rex kitten was born in 1950 in a barn who's mother was a domestic farm cat moggie called Serena and the father was unknown, but one things for sure, he had to be carrying a Rex and a dilute gene. Kallibunker was born on the 21st July was to be the first registered Rex cat in Britain.
